The following year, she won her first Japanese Academy Award for 'Rookie of the Year'. She would go on to star in many movies, and receive much critical praise for her acting. For a short time, she was the lead vocalist in the all-girl rock band Mean Machine, along with YUKI and Chara. She recently had her seiy? debut as the voice of Tifa Lockhart in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, and a cameo as the same character in Kingdom Hearts II and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
